Working from Home Loungewear That’s Conference Call Approved

I've now been permanently working from home for almost three months, and it has definitely been an experience. I always spent at least one day working from home before, but now I'm at home 24/7 with my dogs I've really had to adapt my lifestyle and wardrobe to the new normal! Today on the blog I wanted to round up Working from Home Loungewear That's Conference Call Approved that I have been living in for the past several weeks.

I’ve now been permanently working from home for almost three months, and it has definitely been an experience. I always spent at least one day working from home before, but now I’m at home 24/7 with my dogs I’ve really had to adapt my lifestyle and wardrobe to the new normal! Today on the blog I wanted to round up Working from Home Loungewear That’s Conference Call Approved that I have been living in for the past several weeks. I’m talking about gorgeous cashmere robes and cropped sweaters, comfy skinny joggers, and soft cotton t-shirts, all of which can cross the comfortable/smart threshold so you are work AND home appropriate.

Before we went into lockdown, taking off my bra and putting on loungewear was something I would look forward to all day when I was in the office, but now I am living my dream every single day. Over the past few weeks, I have invested in my work from home wardrobe to make sure that each morning I get up and get dressed into my new ‘uniform’ rather than sitting around in my pajamas all day.

I LOVE to be comfortable. No matter where I’m at, I hate feeling like my clothes are squeezing me or poking me in all the wrong places! Since I’ve been at home all day every day during the lockdown, I’ve been even more on the lookout for cozy clothing. From fuzzy slippers to chic blue light glasses, these are the essentials I have been raving about. I hope these loungewear pieces are ones you can love as much as I do and will add to your wardrobe.

1. Recycled Hoodie | 2. Tortoiseshell Blue Light Glasses | 3. Jersey Headband | 4. Tie-Dye Bike Shorts
5. Faux Fur Slippers | 6. Essie Nail Varnish | 7. Calvin Klein Bralette | 8. Skinny Joggers
9. Over the Knee Socks | 10. Lace Bra | 11. Cropped Sweatshirt | 12. Soft Shorts
13. Moisturising Mask | 14. Satin Scrunchies | 15. Cashmere Robe

  1. Hoodie
The first item I chose for my loungewear roundup was this comfy little recycled hoodie! I am obsessed with Topshop loungewear and this hoodie is no exception. I love the fact that it is made of recycled materials as well. I have been trying to bring down my carbon footprint this year so buying recycled clothes certainly helps with that.

  2. Blue Light Glasses
Blue light glasses are not necessarily considered “loungewear,” but if you’re staring at a computer screen all day then you should definitely invest in a pair. For those of you who don’t know, blue light glasses are amazing to wear if you work in front of a computer. They block the blue light from computer screens and keep it from hurting your eyes so you get less eye strain and headaches. They’re pretty popular in the US and are just taking off in the UK now.

  3. Jersey Headband
When I first started working from home, I really tried to make sure my hair looked amazing every single day. I then realized it didn’t really matter because I could just throw it up with a headband and it would be fine!

  4. Bike Shorts
Okay, I’m not sure where I fall when it comes to bike shorts, to be honest. I have tried them on myself and they DO NOT WORK. That being said, when I see other people wear them they look so cute! I love that tie-dye is making a come back and these Boohoo shorts are so affordable you can get them in every colour!

  5. Faux Fur Slippers
No matter what style you get, faux fur slippers are so cozy and make me feel more comfortable while being at home.

  6. Nail Varnish
I very rarely get my nails done or wear nail varnish but I love the nude nail trend that is happening at the moment and this Essie polish is perfect for nailing your chic lockdown style.

  7. Bralette
My current obsession! I love bralettes because it means I can be comfy and not wear a bra, but I’m also not completely ‘free-boobing’ it at the same time. For larger chested ladies like myself, Figleaves does an amazing collection of bralettes that will keep the girls in check all day.

  8. Skinny Joggers
The next item I wanted to share were these women’s lounge pants. I love skinny joggers because they are more fitted and a little more elevated than just a regular pair of sweatpants. When I think loungewear, my brain immediately goes to cozy pants! I knew I wanted to pick a pair that was affordable, comfy, and a lovely color too.

  9. Over the Knee Socks
I love having really fuzzy socks on when I’m at home and especially love when it’s a cool morning and I can have a pair on! Over the knee socks are a fun way to be comfortable while working from home. I love wearing some sleep shorts and then having the socks on too!

  10. Lace Bra
Sometimes when I have an important conference call where I need an extra confidence boost, I love to wear a lace bra with a nice v-neck tee or an oversized sweater. It’s like a personal little secret that makes me feel ready to take on the world. They can also add an extra little dimension of flirty to any look and I think a black lace bra or white bralette one especially works really nicely.

  11. Cropped Sweatshirt
As a curvier woman, I didn’t know how to feel at first, but now I really love the cropped sweatshirt trend! My favourites are the ones with graphic prints that are really bold and fun, and they pair especially nicely with high waisted leggings. If you’ve been a fan of this trend, I think it’s a really exciting way to spruce up your loungewear wardrobe.

  12. Soft Shorts
The heatwave we’ve been having recently has made soft shorts that I can work in a must-have in my wardrobe. Since most of my meetings are from the waist up, it’s fine to just wear them while I work! No one will ever know…

  13. Moisturising Mask
I am a firm believer that you should use a face mask at least once a week and now that I’m permanently working from home there is nothing stopping me from popping one on in between conference calls or on my break.

  14. Satin Scrunchies
I basically have 100 scrunchies, hair bands and clips just laying around my house. I’m always finding one of the dogs chewing one! I love scrunchies because they’re so fun to wear, are kind to your hair, and can make a fab wrist accessory too. The best part is that there are so many types of scrunchies in so many patterns that you can always find one to match what you’re looking for.

  15. Cashmere Robe
The last item I rounded up for this loungewear post was a cashmere robe I love just lounging around in a robe on the weekends and relaxing. Cashmere ones are so soft and cozy that you will never want to take it off. They’re also such a good investment as well because it will last you years. I’ve had mine for nearly 4 years now and it’s still as lovely as when I got it.

I hope you’ve all enjoyed this post of Working from Home Loungewear That’s Conference Call Approved! I’ve been loving the fact that I can wake up every day and stay in some cozy clothes while I work.
